Potentials guests often ask the following questions:

Our neighbourhood:
Wellim’s Way guest house is situated in one of the oldest districts of Brussels. Most of the houses are architecturally attractive, old “Maisons de Maître”. Most of the buildings were built in the late 19th century as one-family residences for bourgeois families. Currently there is extensive renovation and construction as the area undergoes an economic revival, both residential and commercial, as can be seen with the new stores opening and the scores of newly restored homes. Saint-Gilles district is residential, so there is no hustle and bustle like down town Brussels.

How far away from down town are you?
We are in the centre of Brussels. Brussels comprises 19 districts and we are one of the closest to the heart of Brussels (Grand-Place, place Sainte-Catherine, place du Jeu de Balle where the flea market takes places, rue Antoine Dansaert where designer shops are, Horta’s House, the Sablon…).

Is it easy to get to the major sights in Brussels?
Yes, very easy, the train/bus/metro/tram station are a few minutes away. There are plenty of trams, metros and buses, and to get to places like the Museums of the city of Brussels. By foot, we are no more than half an hour away from major attractions. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
